Rehab Coventry (Teach na hÉireann) - Centre Aims

Our Aims

Rehab Coventry Irish Elders Centre provides a service targeted at reducing the social isolation experienced by Irish Elders living in Coventry and surrounding area. Our organisation seeks to offer a broad based and sensitive support to those experiencing social exclusion and loneliness.

The centre also offers, (on a volunteer basis), an Outreach Programme providing assessment, guidance and critical support to the most vulnerable; especially those who do not access mainstream services.

Rehab operates a quality assurance system, consulting partners, service users, staff and volunteers on a quarterly basis. Reports are submitted on a bimonthly basis to the Rehab Group Senior Management Team. Coventry Local Authority Commissioning Unit monitor and evaluate day care clients on a monthly basis to ensure they are receiving “best value” service from the centre and we are adhering to “best practice principals”.

Staff appraisals are carried out on a half yearly basis and are evaluated against each individual’s agreed work plan
