Rehab Coventry (Teach na hÉireann) - Mini Bus Pick Up Service
Our Pick Up Service
Rehab Coventry operates a mini bus and can pick up those service users unable to use public transport.
The cost of our mini bus service, which is run by volunteers, is three pounds return from any part of the city.
The mini bus was a very generous donation to the centre from the Durkan Group (London and Dublin) following a launch in 2002 by Kevin Burke and the Mayo Emigrant Liaison Association during a visit to mayo by the then Deputy Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Coventry David and Chritine Chater.
The mini bus which is run by volunteers is not only used to provide transport to and from the centre, but also used to transport disabled elderly people on short break holidays and is fitted with an electric ramp. The mini bus is also used when required to move elderly people top better housing.
