About Momentum

Momentum is a leading not-for-profit organisation providing rehabilitation, training and care services for more than 2,000 disabled and socially-excluded throughout the UK every year.

Momentum is part of the Dublin-based Rehab Group , a non-Governmental organisation which has been leading the way internationally in the provision of services for disabled people since 1949.

Momentum consists of three divisions - Momentum Skills, Momentum Care and Haven Products.

Momentum Care, which was set up in 2004, offers a variety of tailored social care services which support people in their communities, enabling them to live independently in their own homes and to take part in community-based activities.

Momentum Skills provides rehabilitation and training services, empowering people with a disability and those who are excluded to gain the skills that they need to live independently and to gain access to employment. Momentum Skills supports people across a range of service areas, including brain injury, mental health, physical and learning disabilities, employability and community rehabilitation.

Haven Products became part of Momentum's social enterprise arm in 2004. Haven operates as a commercially-viable business, providing employment opportunities for people with a disability who make up around 80 per cent of employees. Haven works with some of Scotland's largest bluechip companies, offering services and solutions from packaging to component assembly to print finishing.
