Appeals - Momentum Scotland

As a supporter, whether as an individual or representing an organisation, you can contribute to a current appeal through any of our fundraising options.

In 2007 our supporters helped us to:

Take forward a new IT Learning Centre within Haven Products, Hillington - a social enterprise where more than 85% of the workforce are disabled people.

Expand our Integrate work with people with an acquired brain injury in the Scottish Borders.

Launch a new service inSouth Lanarkshire called OPEL to support people with learning disabilities to re-engage with the world of work.

Pilot the Complementary Workforce model which matches disabled Haven Products staff with appropriate job opportunities in a range of national and blue-chip organisations.

In 2008 we are raising money to:

Develop volunteering to support Momentum's Assist service for people with spinal cord injuries

Sustain our brain injury services in North Ayrshire

Develop our community rehabilitation service Catalyst into North Ayrshire

Help to provide better employment opportunities for young school leavers who have learning disabilities

Build on the success of the Transitions brain injury service elsewhere in Scotland

Commence new work in vocational services for people with acquired brain injury in South Lanarkshire

Do more work in the field of Job Retention for people with disabilities
