This year's prestigious Bighearted Scotland Awards will take place in Glasgow on Friday 10th September.
Momentum, which is one of six charities to make up the Bighearted Scotland consortium, is calling on members of the public to nominate remarkable Scots who have made a real difference to other people's lives, whether through acts of courage, generosity, or who have made extraordinary personal sacrifices to help others.
Every year, Bighearted Scotland presents a range of awards to Scots from all walks of life. The Awards also honour personalities from the worlds of Stage, Screen, Sport and Business who have made a significant contribution towards helping others less fortunate.
The Bighearted Scotland Award categories are as follows:
Business Person of the Year
Carer of the Year
Child of the Year
Entertainer of the Year
Fundraiser of the Year
Sports Person of the Year; and
Bighearted Scot of the Year
