This ten-day cycling expedition begins in the Cuban capital of Havana and ends by the Carribean Sea in Trinidad some 350kms later.

Outside of Havana, there are very few vehicles on the road and as Cuba has a strong biking culture, you will fit right in. You will pass villages separated by colourful fruit orchards, sugar plantations and tree-lined avenues. You will also see the monument to Che Guevera as you pass through Santa Clara.

You will cycle through Cienfuegos, which sits in a bay facing the Caribbean Sea and has attracted pirates through the ages, and continue to the magnificent Sierra del Escambray before finally reaching Trinidad.

 Your group will be accompanied by Cuban guides for the entire journey and an air-conditioned bus carrying water and offering rest and relief will always be close by. 

There will be time at the start and the end of the challenge to explore Havana and to relax on palm-fringed beaches.

Charity Challenge is the travel company who will provide the event for Momentum and make it a safe and happy one for our participants. 

This is not an event that in any way damages the environment, as groups are small.  On the contrary, the event is designed so that a donation is made to a local good cause as well as benefiting Momentum.
