SKY DIVING FOR MOMENTUM!

Skydive2

FREE T-SHIRT FOR EVERY SKY DIVER!

Sky dive for Scotland's leading sky diving charity - Momentum - a disability charity helping over 2,200 people each year recover from the effects of a stroke, brain injury or other disability.

How much is it to do?:

IT'S FREE, BUT THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

  • £70 Booking Deposit (which you can claim back from the figure below).
  • Raise a £395 minimum sponsorship target thereafter.  (Don't let the sponsorship target put you off as we have found over the years that as soon as a person gives their commitment to doing a jump the sponsorship target is quickly and easily reached.)   Momentum gets £140 of this amount, and everything raised over £395.

Momentum fundraisers have been promoting charity sky diving since its inception back in the mid 1990s.  Since then, many hundreds of people have sky dived for them - and every one of them has come back down to earth desperate to go straight back up - so good was the experience for them.

Make 2008 then the year you finally do a sky dive!

Three Momentum Skydivers

There are three different types of sky dive that you can do with Momentum:

  • 10,000ft Tandem Sky dive - where you get a short instruction and then are strapped to a skydiving instructor for a freefall at 120mph for a few thousand feet before the canopy opens and your glide safely back to earth.  This tends to be the most popular option for first-timers.

  • Static Line Sky dive - Train on the first day and then jump on the second day from your attached 'static line' which automatically opens your parachute when you jump out of the plane from 3,000ft.

  • AFF - Accellerated Free Fall - Get a full day's instruction and then launch yourself into your solo jump from 10,000ft.  Freefall for a few thousand feet at 120mph and then open your canopy for a gentle glide back to earth.

Here in Scotland there are three jump centres where you can jump from:

1.  Skydive St. Andrews - situated just outside Anstruther in Fife's East Neuk.

2.  Errol Airfield near the village of Grange in Perthshire.

3.  Auchterarder Airfield close to the town of Auchterarder in Perthshire.

It's easy to arrange a jump:

A) Firstly view the online information pack by clicking Here.   PLEASE NOTE:  Sky dives happen every Saturday or Sunday throughout the whole year.

B)  Secondly, click here to download our sky diving reservation form.  Plese click on the "Enable Macros" button on the box that appears when you download it.  (This has details of jump dates etc.)

C) Then click here to register online right now.  We are 100% satisfied that registering online with our skydiving partners via this link is totally safe and secure and we will also take great care to protect your privacy.

Alternatively call Lindsey on 0141 221 2333 to also get the same, free parachute information pack sent to you by post.

Skydives happen on every weekend of the year.  If you can raise over the minimum sponsorship level you get to do your jump for FREE!

Minimum age to do a jump is 16.  Maximum weight restriction is 15 stone or over.
