Momentum's services in North East England and the Midlands provide a wide range of support to people with an acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions, ranging from initial assessment to return-to-work help.
Our multi-disciplinary teams support people in managing the effects of their brain injury by delivering the following services:
Assessment: Our specialist teams will evaluate the cognitive, emotional and behavioural effects of brain injury, assessing issues such as anxiety, problem solving difficulties and memory difficulties.
Community Rehabilitation: This service is delivered to people with an acquired brain injury or other neurological condition within their own home and local community. The purpose is to increase independence and participation in their community and may include support in travelling independently, domestic tasks or handling personal finances.
Vocational Rehabilitation: This is for adults with an acquired brain injury or other neurological condition who are looking for support to enter or return to employment, training, or education. Service users are assisted to identify and work towards achievable goals. Coaching is given in both interviewing and job-seeking skills and staff assist service users to secure work placements in preparation for returning to the workplace. Support continues to both service users and their employers throughout the work placement and once back in employment.
Bespoke Services: We can also offer a bespoke service by taking elements of the above programmes and further tailoring these to each individual's need.
