Momentum's Work Ahead programme, supported by the Big Lottery Fund, provides specialist training and support for adults with an acquired brain injury, who live in South Lanarkshire, and who want to return to work, further education or training.

Work Ahead is a flexible and tailored service which is designed to meet the individual's needs.  Our staff help service users to become work-ready by delivering training in areas such as work-related skills, confidence-building, assertiveness, and communication skills. We also offer the opportunity for people to gain recognised qualifications which are highly valued by employers.

With our help, service users are assisted to identify and work towards achievable goals. Staff assist individuals to secure work placements in preparation for returning to the workplace and support continues throughout the work placement and also once back in employment.

Work Ahead is also able to provide short-term support to people who have returned to employment but who feel they need support with job retention.
