May-Tag

May-Tag is based in Maybole and works throughout South Ayrshire. Since it was established in 1988, May-Tag has been involved in a range of community enterprise opportunities, including offering practical employment training in a variety of areas.

May-Tag's activities include:

  • Maybole Access - Access is a training and employment project, which helps short and long term unemployed people to gain skills towards employment and to move towards work.
  • One Stop Shop - One Stop Shop offers advice and information to anyone living in Maybole and the surrounding villages, assisting with issues such as welfare benefit checks, citizens' advice and health information.
  • Social Enterprise/Maybole Castle - Maybole Community Social Enterprise is a partnership, managed by May-Tag Ltd, with the aim of developing new social enterprises across South Ayrshire, leading to increased employment opportunities for disadvantaged people across the area.  Current activity centres on Maybole Castle and its surrounding estate.
