Work Step is a supported employment programme designed for people who, due to their disability, may find it difficult to find or keep a job.

A Jobcentre Plus initiative, Work Step enables people to work effectively in a job by identifying their needs and providing the necessary support to enable them to do so.

For many disabled people, Work Step is the stepping-stone into full, unsupported employment. People employed through Work Step receive the same wage, terms and conditions as their non-disabled colleagues, who do the same or similar work.

Momentum presently provides Work Step programmes for disabled people in Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
