Momentum's Inclusive programme assists people who are unemployed with a disability or a long-term illness, to move towards a more independent future.
An innovative structure supports Inclusive service users to work together, learning team-building, problem-solving, confidence and communication skills.
Inclusive offers a range of recognised Information and Communication Technology based awards, the most popular of which is the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL). This industry standard qualification, awarded by the British Computer Society, provides skills in all the key areas of ICT.
Inclusive supports people to become active members of the community and to use their new-found confidence, motivation and skills to engage in appropriate activities and services within the wider area.
Through a process of goal-setting and review, agreed between the individual and the staff, a personal action plan is prepared to ensure that practical, solid goals for the future are set, both in terms of personal development and career choice.
Our staff and service users work together to ensure that the first step in the action plan is concrete and in place, when each service user leaves.
Inclusive is taking part in an innovative assistive technology programme which trains organisations and people to access and operate adapted computers. Find out more.
