Service User Representation

GIVING service users a say in shaping services is one of Momentum's priorities.

Over the last six years we have worked inclusively with service users to make sure they are represented at all levels of Momentum, including service design, development, monitoring and evaluation.

A major step towards developing these aims was the formation of Momentum's National Service Users' Council in 2003, which gives clients the opportunity to contribute to Momentum's development and to ensure their voices are heard.

This complements our Service Users' Charter of Rights and Responsibilities which helps to ensure that people across Scotland with disabilities or who are excluded have their rights and responsibilities clearly defined and upheld.

Our Service Users' Council produces a Newsletter which you can view here.

To contact the Service Users Council email: suc@momentumscotland.org

To view either information on the Service Users' Council, the Service Users' Charter or the Service Users' Newsletter click a link on the left. The Charter is currently being reviewed and will be updated shortly.
